Where we buy

We buy directly from workshops rather than through wholesalers, and in small runs. We pay on collection, and we name the workshop on every piece.

• Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu: silk sarees woven with zari borders.
• Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: chikankari, a fine hand embroidery.
• Jaipur, Rajasthan: jewellery and hand-dyed textiles.
• Shantipur, West Bengal: fine handloom cotton sarees.
• Bagru, Rajasthan: hand block printing.

Before it reaches you

Every piece is checked, steamed and photographed in our California unit before it goes on the site.
